butterfly valve bottom flange gasket leakage


	The bottom flange gasket may leak for the following reasons:

		The bottom flange bolting is loose.
		Tighten the bottom flange bolting to the required values. Make sure to follow the correct tightening sequence.

		The spiral wound gasket is damaged.
		Remove the valve from service and replace the gasket.
